Am i christian or just a belever?

You're teacher doesn't know what she's talking about.

Teachers, in general, are supposed to help you learn about things without pushing their own beliefs on you. Be a Freethinker, as in; think for yourself. Do not let yourself be sucked into the dangerous and inaccurate "teachings" of Christianity.

confident, John McCain is a Christian. Joe Lieberman is Jewish and that they are wonderful acquaintances. Christians have self belief that the Jews are God's chosen human beings yet that's my faith. What i do no longer comprehend is why greater Jews do no longer help McCain and Palin simply by fact we are people who quite help conserving Israel. Obama is acquaintances with such multiple radical people who hate Jews.

If you believe that Jesus Christ died for you and to save you from Hell, then you are a Christian. Congratulations! I'm so thankful that your teacher has made you a believer. You are still young, and things will get tough and make you start doubting your faith. But if you keep your eyes on Christ and his promise, you will be fine. Don't lose sight of your new faith and start praying to God about everything you encounter. Try going to church and reading the Bible.

Because you are still young, get a Bible that you can understand. There are many different versions (all say the same thing but are worded differently so many people can understand), but I would get the NLT version. It stands for New Living Translation. It is worded pretty plain and simple and is a good version to start out with. When you get it, start reading the New Testament in the gospels. Your teacher can explain how the bible works and show you where the gospels are. The gospels are all about Jesus and what he did on the Earth.

I am glad you took the leap of faith. You don't have to wait until you die to confess your sins to him. Just pray to him, and tell him what you have done and ask that you start forming better habits. Thank him after, and I promise you will feel at peace.

In order to be a true believer Jesus must have died for you to pay for all your dirty rotten sins and only He can give you faith that saves you from God's wrath to come against all supposed believers in Him.. Anything that you work to gain salvation will not get you into heaven, and you can not be assured of salvation by anything you say.

"For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift (faith) of God: Not of works lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Have you prayed yet to be a born again Christian? Know that God can help you live a better life if you want Him to help you. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain the world's natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen." I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. Maybe you could find a Christian friend who could take you to church with them. You can pray to God about your daily life.

You are 12 now, and everyone will say "you're being brainwashed!'

I was 20 when I had someone tell me about jesus. I believed in him too. I'm an adult and I wasn't brainwashed.

A true christian IS a believer. You have to believe on Him before you can accept Him as your Savior. Otherwise just going through the motions or rituals are worthless. And going through the motions don't make you a believer anyway. It is what you believe in your heart that counts.

Anyone who believes in the bible has no brain, don't waist your life with superstitious crap.

It's called brainwashing. You shouldn't listen to her, and she needs to be fired for that. It's called separation of church and state.

To those of you that are saying that's NOT brainwashing consider this...

A white teacher comes to this kid's school. He teaches all the kids white power. Would this be wrong? Would this be brainwashing?
