Yes, you can block a user on facebook and it is not necessary for them to be your friend. If they are your friend, then once you block someone, they get removed from your friend list. The easy way to block someone is to click settings at the top right corner and then going to your privacy settings. You can also remove them from block by going there. When you will block them, you will become completely invisible from each other. You can only see each others name if a mutual friend of both of you tags you in a photo. The name would not be in hyperlink (click able) form. Also, you can't know if someone is looking at your profile

You can block people on Facebook, whether or not you are friends with them on the site. In order to do so, go to "Settings" at the top right-hand of the page and click on "Privacy Settings." Click on the last link in the list, "Block List." In the "Person" field, enter the name of the person you would like to block, or in the "Email" field, enter the e-mail address of that person.

There is no way to track who has viewed your profile, whether or not they are your friend on the site. Facebook has no tracking feature (and none of the apps that claim to do so actually function as implied). The only way that you would know that they have searched for you on Facebook would be if they were to message or poke you on the site.

if they arent your "friend", then they dont show up anyway.

but yes you can block someone, you just to their profile, and click on "block this person"

he cant be stalking if hes not on your "friends" list, unless you have your settings messed up. Only "friends" can view your info
