1.use a eyeprimer: lorel decrease(drugstore) and the best is at sephora urban decay primer potion.

2.use your eyeshadow wet...it makes it more pigmented becasue the color sticks together.

    3.buy a really pigmented shadow...like HiP duos!:)

you need a base like most said, the quality of the eyeshadow does make a big difference, but work with your shadow... just don't overwork it. pat on a lid color and never for get to blend.

You could use an eyeshadow primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion,

or a base like a cream eyeshadow or a white eyeliner.

If you don't have that stuff just wet your brush and it comes out more pigmented.

    That's it ;)

If you want to make your eyeshadow appear more opaque or pigmented you should try using a primer before you apply it.

CoverGirl has some great primers for decent prices.

If you're willing to spend a little more though, you could try Urban Decay.

    Hope this helped!!!

Make sure the brushes/applicators you're using are of decent quality. I've found that if you want the eyeshadow color to go on more pigmented and darker, it's actually best to use a smaller eyeshadow brush or applicator. Also, before putting the eyeshadow on the brush or sponge applicator, put a little water on it. Simply put a little water on the brush or whatever you're using to apply the shadow, but make sure that it's not soaking wet. I usually dry it off a little bit so it's just damp. Then pick up the shadow on the brush (make sure you have an ample amount of eyeshadow on it). When applying, instead of swiping it over your eyes in big streaks, pat it onto your eye to make it darker. It really does work! also try applying a primer beforehand ( i love urban decay primer potion)

    i hope i helped!
