american express gift card statement?
For Christmas, I received an American Express gift card. I went to register with PayPal, and I recieved an email telling me to check my card statement. So, i went to the American Express website and entered my card's information in, but it wasn't recognized. Can i still purchase items on sites like Ebay as long as I am registered with PayPal whether or not the card is confirmed?

I just recently had this problem and Amex will not link their card to PayPal because it shows their head office as being in Singapore. Their gift cards are only good for U.S. and Canada. Such stupidity ! I never had a problem before and I used a lot of their cards with PayPal before.
