Anyone have song ideas for a (my) beloved man who passed away April, 2009? I'm making DVD with all his pics?

His name is/was Mike. He passed from lung cancer at young age of 48. He really liked rock (RUSH was his favorite); but, he also liked country, and other genres (he just didn't really like Rap). We didn't have an "our song", for we listened & danced / partied to all different songs & groups. We were suppose to marry (we'd been together almost 6 years). I miss him dearly. Couple ideas I've thought may be nice: Free Bird, by Lynard Skynard; & Crying for Me (country song, by ? is it Toby Keith?) Thank-you so much to all who contribute answers to this question.
