Why do you think the the following story of islamic violence was not covered in the mainstream media?
aeriol7 - Thanks for the information. I wish I could have seen the CNN story. 57 people massacred in the Phillipines is a big story, and do we not still have a pact with the Phillipines. I do not understand why we are not coordinating this anti-terrorism effort with all of our allies.
Beliver, wife, mother, nana - thank you. You bring up some good points. Many of these things were brought to the surface during the primary season. But now he is our President, and while I disagree with him on abortion, and so called gay "civil rights" I do have have to support him particualry in wartime concerns. I hope you are wrong about his inclinations toward islam. Unfortuantely, I do not beieve that Jihad is limted to a few exteremists, althgough they -- the muslims -- work very hard to get us to believe this. I believe that like any nation, and Islam is more of a nation than a religion, there is a military branch and a pr branch. the socalled moderates are merely presenting a alse front so that these terroist acts can occur. Unfortunatley we do not have enough leaders left from the world war II generation, and our current leaders are too willing to trade justice for tolerance. Incidentaly Fareed Zakiria from CNN is promoting a new euphamism for tolerance aka reslience.
I believe this Fareed Zakaria is a dangerous indivdual and we should work to get him off the air, he is a muslim born India, very strong academically, but his writing is a misxture of tautologies and gobeldygook designed to obsfucate the genuine issues, and thus lull those who can't see through this sort of thing into a false sence of security. His most recent show yesterday discussed this insane notion that we were overracting to the christmas day failed bombing attempt. He negelcted to see the connection between the viloence I mention here and the fort hood incident, the cia operatives being killed in afaganistan, other failed bombing attempts. So my point is that even though he is supposed to be this great analyst, since he does not connect these dots there is not mucha analysis going on. Can you believe it a show actually titled are we overreacting? We need to call his sponsors and boucott them and make this known to CNN.

because god has sent his only son, jesus christ, to make sure that people like you carry the torch when the mainstream media fails. charge on sweet obscure article guy! you alone are responsible for justice in this world! don't stop! the world hinges on your success or failure at bringing such news to light! It was briefly on the BBC and on CNN. I take your point though. The really interesting question is why are we not really helping the Sudanese whose country was taken over by Islamic fundamentalist over a duly elected government. Many Islamic nations but not all nations support this new government who gets money from Saudi Arabia..to answer your question, its to not anger people against oil rich nations of the middle-east !

Maybe you should think about this, Obama, although he calls himself a christian, he is also a muslim. I'm just waiting for them to come out with now women have to cover their heads and their faces to go out into public. Why when a terrorist happens here in the USA Obama never uses the term terrorist. He'll say it is anything else but TERRORIST. He downplays it like we are stupid. Now I know not all Muslims are terrorists, but the real wacko ones are and they would just like to kill us all for not believing what they believe. So maybe the people in the USA should consider this aspect. Obama is not all black and he is not all christian either. Too many thing are happening that are so strange and no one says anything. It is swept under the table. With all the mistakes that are being made in this country, nothing is said. I know this seem like it has nothing to do with this question, Oh but it does. when the public media doesn't broadcast news like this. Instead we get what Machelle is wearing at the party she will attend. That is big news. Who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you.

Partly because these sorts of things are constantly happening against Christians all over the world and if they were all reported then the people of western countries would just become even more desensitized than they are now. Generally most people are too wrapped up in themselves to care until it is they themselves that are the target.

White human beings have been intimidating African individuals for hundreds of years . And now you human beings ask your self why some thing like the Black Panthers ( who may be risky ) have reemerged to threaten white human beings . can not you human beings connect the dots ? I even have various black friends ; some are veterans that I even have commonplace for over 35 years . they do no longer seem to be Black Panthers . As a white guy or woman myself i might shelter my black friends from human beings like the Neo Nazi conservative / Republicans any day. Because It's one big attempt to demonize muslims, I am not a muslim, but understand how they've been used by the powerful to get what they want.
The media: Muslims are terrorists, they want to blow up our countries and steal our freedoms, so offer your freedoms for security and support our wars.
