Cell = a car. It has all the components (e.g. tires, steering wheel, engine) to perform a specific function (e.g. transportation), with the nucleus ("brain of the cell) being the driver.

Assembly line = ribosomes. These are sites of protein synthesis (assembly).

The bowling alley is a little tricky. I see it as a 'hit or miss' pathway, so maybe antibodies might be an appropriate analogy. Antibodies can travel throughout the bloodstream (or bowling lane), chemically “lock on” (aiming the bowling bowl) to the antigens (bowling pins), and destroy them (knocking the pins down). New antigens would cause new antibodies to be released, sort of like resetting the lane for another toss.

I'm not completely sure what you're asking, but I'll answer for what i think. Almost all medical terms have Latin roots, and therefore all words referring to one particular subject, are fairly similar. I took some Latin courses after my EMT class and it certainly helped me a lot.

A bowling alley. Cause there are always people coming in and out, and there are balls everywhere. Hahaha.
