What else would go good with pot roast mash Potato Broccoli and Carrots ?

Dinner is almost ready

    Cook onions in with the pot roast, if you weren't going to already. They are the best !

    Oops - if dinner's almost ready, sautee up some onions and put them on the roast - or on the side.

    A simple green salad with a nice raspberry vinaigrette spritzer.

    Dessert I'm thinking a vanilla or tapioca pudding.

    Well, that is already a complete dinner, but you could try a side dish of pickled beets or put a dish of fresh blackberries on each place setting. I say beets and blackberries because those are 2 things I have in my fridge and it would be another color for the plate.
