Did you know about Googles religious censorship?

Question

When you start typing a term into the Google search box, it starts to give you suggestions as to what it thinks you might be looking for. 

Give it a shot. Go on, type in "Christianity is", and see what suggestions you get.

When I try it, the first suggestion is "Christianity is Bullsh!t", followed by "Christianity is not a religion". Also in the top 10 is "Christianity is false", "Christianity is a lie", and "Christianity is a cult"

Now try the same thing for "Buddhism is", and "Hinduism is". Even try "Catholicism is". Virtually identical results pop up for *almost* all major religions.

Now for a shocker..... type in "Islam is". Wow. Nothing. As you type in "Islam", all sorts of - only positive - suggestions appear. But as soon as you get to "Islam is" - which our experience above tells us should bring up a lot of negative links - ALL the suggestions vanish. Apparently Google has decided that there is one religion that must not be offended.

hahaha you are right.
It's probably because Google does not want it's buildings bombed by the islamic savages.

It's a matter of security.

I don't get any suggestions for anything.  I am smart enough to form complete search queries on my own.

Maybe Google got hit with an organized attempt to skew the auto-suggestions and manually overrode it.

I turned it on and tried some other religions too.  Some of the others came up blank as well.
Methodism, Asatru, Amish, Shintoism, Presbyterianism, Lutheranism, pastafarianism, rastafarianism, chinese folk religions (are&is), heathenism, evangelicalism

It was just a glitch.
If you had typed "Islam will" or "Islam must" you would have had all the insulting little phrases that you seem to want so badly.

It comes up with google is skynet,  google is making people stupid and google is crap

plus google is watching you...

It is just what people are interested in at the moment...what is the topped search...

must you type in Lady Gaga, Taylor Launtner, Justin Beiber, Edward Cullin, Harry Potter, Obama is...

The list goes on forever they are all negative...gay, homosexual, anti-christ, reptilian, abusive boyfriend, a man! ETC...

It's not "censorship," genius -- censorship would mean no other options were available, and that's not the case.
You're apparently offended because of what comes up *first* -- guess what, that suggestion list is in the order of the most clicked-on links.  Muslims go on-line and click on their favorite pro-muslim sites, tilting the search results in their favor.  If you're so offended, get all your christian buddies to do the same, and you can change the order things come up, too.

Or you could just not worry about it.  If there's any validity to your beliefs, why do you care?

EDIT: I've just checked again, it's been changed back to it's original state. No problem anymore.

a more relative search would be "Cathoic is" "Buddhist is" and "hinduist is"


and that isn't how one normally writes

If you put:
Muslims are......no matches
Catholics are....no matches
etc
etc
etc
