Navy boot camp question.?

I have several close friends who are in the Navy. I am leaving for boot camp soon. My friends are telling me that they keep hearing rumors that boot camp has been lengthened to 13 weeks. Is this true? Or are my friends pulling my leg?

Far as I know it's still 8 weeks (9 to 10 weeks if you count P-days and time you may spend post-graduation)

each branch of provider takes away your contacts and supply you boot camp issued glasses. this is a lot safer. in case you had in contacts and a few thing have been given on your eye it is going to be lots worse than it could be without the contacts. Then what if the touch falls out at the same time as you're rubbing your eye!? you are able to now not see. I dont' comprehend approximately military yet Marines pass to the gasoline chamber and you somewhat do not desire CS gasoline on your eyes! as quickly as you end boot camp you are able to positioned on your conventional glasses.

I doubt it. Ask those liars at the recruiting office =D.

If they made it 13 then they must have added in a bunch of more courses so just stick it out.

But its prob still 8 weeks.

Could be. At the end of the day though it's all about folding clothes.

Uh why not ask your recruiter instead of Yahoo?
