How do you make Maultaschen?

I am looking for a good Maultaschen recipe with meat or vegetarian. All suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

This is a pretty cool dish to make. I'll give you the basics. They are pretty much a German version of ravioli, and keep that in mind, prepare a flour, egg, and water dough. You can use won-ton wrappers, if you don't want to make the dough, or don't have time. Then for the filling, saute spinach, onions, and maybe a little garlic. If you wish to use meat, precook it. Sausage, ground beef, veal, pork, whatever you like. Then when the meat, and onion/spinach/garlic mix is ready, add together with bread crumbs and raw egg. Add spices like nutmeg, allspice, thyme salt and pepper. Any, or all of these work. Cut dough into 4 inch by 3 inch rectangles, Place a bit of the mixture in the center and fold over. seal with raw egg glue. Finish by boiling in beef broth for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve in beef broth. Sweet and sour potatoes, cabbage, pickled vegetables, etc. are great with this. I hope this was of help to you. Enjoy!
