Prom/ High School Grad Poll?

Did you have your prom or high school grad in your high school or at a hotel/ convention center?

Please state whether you are from Eastern or Western Canada as well.

This is just a poll out of curiosity - my east coast roommate thought it was weird to not have it at your school, and thinks that to do it elsewhere is the way most US highschools do it.

Update:

by grad, I mean the grad dance, not the diploma ceremony.

    Our graduation this year is actually in a banquet hall. Oh, and I'm in Hamilton, Ontario...and even better, I'll be graduating too!

    Ours was in a ballroom type place (not a hotel) overlooking the river.

    I'm in Eastern Canada; Ontario.

    Yeah my daughter's grad dance is at a hotel this year.I am in Ontario.
