A while ago it was noted that the seals were gone from pier 39 in San Francisco?

Are they back yet? Did anyone ever figure out where or why they went?

Yes! I heard about this! Some scientists in Oregon reported that there was the largest population of Sea Lions, ever to be in Sea Lion Cave! So a lot of scientists think the Sea Lions from Peir 39, all went to Sea Lion Cave in Oregon! The reason for this sudden migration though, is not yet known!

I think they followed the food source north. Not all of them left, just the great majority. They’ll be back.
