Only 2 match ban for chewing ball?
Any one surprised? If you look at video, 2 match ban does not look enough for this starving Paki.

I am not surprised, once again the ICC has shown it has no balls when it comes to dealing with the problems in cricket, instead just happy to take some money under table once again.
I was watching this game with some danish friends who arent cricket fans and now they think its an absolute joke.
For the good of the games the ICC has to step up and deal with these problems, instead of taking the money and sweeping it under the carpet.

A calculated scale on the balls age for ball tampering in a ODI is:-
Below are the fines.
1 to 10 Overs = 6 matches & a week in
the Caribbean Islands
11 to 20 Overs = 5 matches & a night out at
Le Girls Cabaret
21 to 30 Overs = 4 matches & a BBQ
31 to 40 Overs = 3 matches
41 to 50 Overs = 2 matches & a Life membership on the
ICC Committtee
Law 42.18
Players' conduct
If there is any breach of the Spirit of the Game by a player failing to comply with the instructions of an umpire, or criticising his decisions by word or action, or showing dissent, or generally behaving in a manner which might bring the game into disrepute, the umpire concerned shall immediately report the matter to the other umpire.
The umpires together shall
(i) inform the player's captain of the occurrence, instructing the latter to take action.
(ii) warn him of the gravity of the offence, and tell him that it will be reported to higher authority.
(iii) report the occurrence as soon as possible to the Executive of the player's team and any Governing Body responsible for the match, who shall take such action as is considered appropriate against the captain and player or players, and, if appropriate, the team concerned

Yes, I was shocked at the leniency shown by Ranjan Madugale.... 2 T-20 ban is equivalent to just 1 ODI ban..... Pakis generally do not escape so lightly...... light escape is usually reserved only for the Aussie and English players. If I were PCB, I would ban Afridi for life for having brought such a disrepute to the nation.

I'm surprised, especially since he has a habit of foul play. Here he is pitch tampering vs England
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O6oSDpdNBc
also the fact he only misses a couple of T20 matches which nobody really cares about anyway is baffling.

hi do no longer issue, what are the adventure referees there for and that they take extra care of communities from this area of the international . So your wish ought to be fulfilled however the undesirable guy would not have a decision with clay ft bowlers taking longer for mauling with the help of Eng batsmen & wickets confusing to return with the help of, he's allowing them to shop on, without being concerned approximately his drawing near ban, if that saves them little embarrassment, so be it..

He deserves a life ban for the childish way he did it,i.e. hands clasped around the ball while the other player walked close to him to stop the cameras filming him do it. He obviously doesn't know that CH 9 has more than two cameras, lol.

I chew the ball all the time and I never get banned. My owner doesn't like to pick up a ball covered in slobber though.

PCB has thanked ICC. Rules are interpreted depending on the influence and punishment awarded accordingly. Subjective ruling rather than objective.

it not surprising really he entered a early guilty plea if plead not guilty than found guiltily later on it would be more
