What is self raising flour in the US?

Trying to convert a recipe into US ingredients. I need to use 3 TBLS of self raising flour. I know bakers flour is not the equivalent, nor all purpose flour, that is unless baking powder is added but I don't know the quantities for that either. Any help?

For each cup of all-purpose flour add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt

Self raising flour is really just flour mixed with a type of baking powder.

If you cannot get the self raising version just add one ounce of baking powder to each pound of flour.

If you're in kilo and grams add 50 grams to every kilo of flour.
