Do Fast Food Chains also Ban Customers in USA?

The below link is for a Canadian Tim Hortons store in New Brunswick where a customer complained about his coffee and was banned for life from Tim Hortons.

Is this a Canadian phenomeon or does it also happen in the US?

    I've never heard of being banned from an entire food chain, but from individual restaurants, yes.
