Another genetics question: multiple genes at different loci?

E.W. Lindstrom crossed two corn plants with green seedlings and obtained the following progeny: 3583 green seedlings, 853 virescent-white seedlings, and 260 yellow seedlings. Give the genotypes for the green,virescent-white, and yellow progeny.

My hypothesis is that the progeny has the ratio of 12 : 3 : 1, meaning that two pair of genes involve in the phenotype.

    Phenotype .....| genotypes

    Green ............| A-B- and A-bb

    virescent-white | aaB-

    yellow ............| aabb

I suggest the interaction between the two genes is dominant epistasis, where dominant allele A suppresses the expression of allele B and b from different locus.

You may check the hypothesis using Chi-Square test.
