My computer keeps freezing. Any help? I have a Windows xp.?

The problem is, whenever I turn it on, the home screens comes up. I log into my account, and as soon as it opens up, it freezes. I cannot run my spyware, I cant press ctrl alt delete, I cant do anything. I have tried restarting it, but it always freezes. Any suggestions?

Update:

I said I CANT open the task manager. I cant press ctrl alt delete

    In order to fix computer freezing at startup, you must first boot up your CPU in safe mode. This is done by tapping F8 as soon as your start your system.

    Once in safe mode you can attempt to fix the problem. If you don’t feel like going to the computer repair shop or buying a new system, the next best thing is to scan your computer with a registry repair program.

    Computer freezing comes from errors within the Windows registry. I would recommend cleaning it up. You can perform a free scan at:

    Hi sounds like your comp has been hijacked Try formatting the hard drive and re-install windows but make sure you back up your important files

    Try start in safe-mode.

    You could have a rogue program or a problem with a device or software that loads at start up.

    Try to open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and see what process take all CPU
