anyone know anyone that lives in the metropolitan area of france? and wants toget something free? literally...?

this is a dumb reason, but my bf's air france mileage account is about to expire in a couple of weeks. he has a lot of miles saved up and doesnt want to lose them. he's wont be traveling within this short period time, so we figured out a way to renew or extend the period of his mileage account. buy something from the air france e-shopping. they had the cheapest object for 5 euro, perfect no problem, lets buy it, but when we found out the cost of the shipping to the US it, was like 35 euros!!! i checked the cost of the shipping within France and it came out to only 6 euros! so we thought...heck, why dont we just buy the gift and mail it to some mistaken address in france and forget about it, but then i thought, what if theres problems afterwards or something. i have no friends that live tehre, no one, so i was wondering if theres anyone in france that cares to recieve a stupid little 5 euro gift fro air france????

anyone????

if i mail it to a mistaken address, what would happen? i mean they would mail it back to the air france e-shopping departement and take back the mileage or what would happen?

As long as the name and address are correct the parcel will be delivered and the recipient is entitled to receive it. They will open it, be puzzled, but I very much doubt that they will return it if it is just a valueless trinket.

You can choose an ordinary French surname like Martin, Leblanc, Delpierre etc.. and a town of your choice.

Here is the address of a writer I know of who has travelled a lot and, if he receives it, will think it is because he is a frequent traveller, as he is helping medical teams in the Philippines:

    J.P. Dickes

I live in Ireland if there's no French takers. If there's no one at the address you post it to it'll be returned to Air France.
