Car is puttering?1994 Honda Accord EX?
My car is having a problem, and I dont know what it is. When I accelerate, it takes a second for the RPM's to go. When I start it in the morning it idles so low that it almost like it is going to shut off.
When I am stuck in traffic, and barely accelorate it putters. Out of the tailpipe of course.
Could this have anything to do with the Exhaust System?
Could I need a Valve Job?
Or is it possible the Timing is off?
These are all the things I have heard.

They act like that after the cam belt slips. Next slip and the engine will not run. If you continue trying beyond this, valve damage may result. It isn't that bad yet, but this should be addressed very soon. If you put a timing light on it, you'll see the ignition timing is off. Do not reset it, get the belt replaced.
