I don't have a backyard but there is a 4 inch snowcover on the pitch at 102nd and Amsterdam, despite the salt that was placed on the snow a few nights ago - which means that I will be powerlifting instead of playing soccer tomorrow. And yes, this is unusual for Manhattan.

No. Yesterday and today it's 57 degrees, sunny, and unseasonably warm WEATHER in the Pacific Northwest. The only snow around here is in the higher elevation areas such as the Cascade Mountains, and eastern parts of the state. There isn't nearly enough snow here. Unless the situation improves with heavy snow in the mountains in March, we will be facing a water shortage this summer because of a lack of snow this winter.

I live in the snowbelt of Northern Ontario, and this year is the least snow I have seen at this time, in the last 15 years. I usually have 4 or 5 feet by now, there is like 1 foot of old snow left.

Yes - in Wales i can see snow on all the hills around me and in my backyard.
But then, global warming is always a problem "somewhere else" isn't it? It's never anywhere were you can verify it. It's always the Arctic or the middle of the ocean or something.

No, we didn't get any snow this year. Right now we're sweltering under record high temps for Feb. It's gonna be near 60*F today and tomorrow. In fact the coniferous trees have let out their pollen a whole month earlier than normal. Flowers are blooming, and the mosquitoes are already buzzing. This is on the Olympic Peninsula Washington state.

Instead of constantly making a long post concerning how current temps in the US and Europe are not proof one way or the other dealing with global warming I'm just going to post links and hope your brilliant minds will be able to decipher what is being looked at and read.

Yes, it snowed about a quarter inch last night. It's winter.
But who really cares. You can't look out your window and determine anything about the global climate.
