what are some good scary movies?

At your age I'd probably recommend something like Gothika. Or Scream - it's quite tongue in cheek (not stupid Scary Movie style gross-out in your face humour, but it's sort of a parody of the genre).

If you were looking for something a little scarier though try the original versions of The Ring/Ringu, and The Grudge/Ju-On (not the American versions - they're appalling). Obviously for this though you don't want one as scary as that and you definitely don't want something all in subtitles so I'd say go for one of the first ones.

The Orphan... I would recommend another scary movie but its R rated and im 13 and i watched it. i was scared for about 2 days but then you get over it. and its only rated are becuz its so scray if it was less scary it would be rated less then r and its a true story... but i think the orphan is a good scary movie.. i would give you the title of the other one but i dont want you to watch it and report my answer.

Drag me to Hell- Funny, not scary

A Perfect Getaway- More of a thriller

Orphan- Not really scary, but it does make you jump at times

Have a look at "The Relic". A good scary movie!
