a carbon tax is exactly what a state like california needs, it has the highest taxes of any state with people leaving in droves, is completely bankrupt, so add another tax and there won't be anyone left except the complete leftists

It is a good idea if you like the idea of foreigners influencing American and States legislature. I never thought it was a good idea even if it seems like a good idea in the short run. In the long run, you could regret allowing such influence. But hey, I never expected you to think something through and think about the consequences of your actions.

Edit: Please show where I personally supported any foreign influence over US policy. As for you, I am sure you will do what ever it takes, even if that means selling America to the highest bidder, to keep your corporate masters happy.

First, you must understand what you are really fighting. This is not a movement to "save the planet".

It is an attack on capitalism and that is the prime objective. 1st, AGW is a hoax. Everyone knows it is and the scientists are starting to get nervous because they see the stories coming out each week about how data was manipulated.

Unfortunately, California must learn the hard way - they don't want to drill for natural resources off their coast to create wealth. They think their of Progressive ideas will be better than capitalism. Look at what illegal immigration has done to them so far! It's like the end of the Wizard of Oz - The Scarecrow asks the Witch of the North "Why didn't you just tell her she could go home?" And The witch says " Because she would have never believed me, she had to learn it for herself."

I would love to hear Monckton debate some of the politicians behind the Cap and Trade. Lord Monckton vs. the Terminator. I doubt you would get the radicals to debate but it wouldn't be nearly as fun to watch them as it would be to watch Arnold.

As for a debate, who cares? It would have all the allure of watching them (Al and Chris) mud-wrestle, and be similarly as educational.

I think you should see a professional about that. I'm not sure if that professional should be a doctor, or an English teacher. Maybe you should see both, just to be safe...

Global warming is real of course - we all know that - but cap & trade is not the answer. It's just a way for big business to avoid doing anything about it, and make money at the same time. We need a carbon tax instead.
