how do i connect a 2nd wii remote on the game CGC?

To TEMPORARILY CONNECT a Wiimote to your Wii (meaning that you'll have to do this EVERY TIME you want to connect that controller), you do the following.

1) Start the Wii game.

2) Hit the Home button when permitted.

3) Select "Wii Remote Options"

4) Hit "Reconnect"

5) Hit 1+2 on the Wiimotes IN ORDER OF PLAYER PREFERENCE. -- This means that whoever's going to be player one does this first, player two goes second & so on.

6) Close Wii Remote Options

7) Close the Home menu

8) Enjoy!

To Permanently connect a Wiimote (to reduce headaches), you do the following:

1) Turn on Wii.

2) Hit the Red Sync button the Wii (behind the SD card slot cover)

3) Hit the Red Sync button on the Wiimote (behind the batter cover)

Once permanently connected, you just need to hit 1+2 to activate the other Wiimotes without the need to go through the temporary connection procedures.
