Can't update my audio drivers, any suggestions?
Formatted the hard drive. Don't recommend updating, or reinstalling, or contacting the manufacturer, or install some scanner that detects my need for drivers that wants me to purchase before they fix my drivers..been there-done that-went to geek patrol too-Device Manager has the yellow question marks next to:multimedia audio controller - other PCI bridge device-SM bus controller-video controller. Problem is no sound

When all else fails, just install a sound card and call it good. Sometimes it isn't worth the aggravation!

Edit: You can put the audio card in any vacant PCI slot (white ones) on your motherboard.

Update your sound card driver, you can try Driver Robot, It will scan your system and locate the exact drivers you need to update automatically.
