Why are so many questions getting deleted?

I write a thoughtful answer to a serious question, and then when I go to post it, I see "This question has been deleted". Maybe we should ask the deleter to give a reason. Just now someone asked why her fiancé accuses her of arguing, when she doesn't think she's been arguing at all. I suggested that they talk about conflict resolution in the abstract, some time when things were calm. What's wrong with that?

A question may be removed if reported by one or more users.

The stated reason for such report will determine how quickly it is removed.

It all depends on how you phrased your removed question.

You are supposed to receive a violation notice.

Once you receive it you have a deadline to meet in order to appeal this violation.

If you are sure your question was wrongly removed, then appeal if you are not sure don't appeal. Never the less send an email explaining your question and saying you are sorry for having posted it.

If you don't wish to do any of the above it is your prerogative

  • I think people should mind their own business and not delete stuff just because they are offended for whatever reason. If they don't like the question, then go to another question.

Well, it is their question, and if they do not want it to stay in the Yahoo archives, they have every right to delete it if that is what they wish.

Wow, this was happening 4 years ago huh?

Well, now it's absurd. The other day, I copied exactly

someone elses question on my poem, and theirs stayed

up, mine got canned, and the poem is harmless.

This is a four year old answer, but the reporter needs to

fill his life up with more hate, so am sure this will be deleted.

    Have at it.
