why doesn't my best answer percentage change?

i mean, i'm not a genius or anything, but i'm pretty sure that percentage is a little low. i just started using Y!A again and i am wondering if they even update it anymore....

They update it all the time. The more answers you've given, the harder it is to drive up your percentage even more. If you are really particular in what you choose to answer, answer really well and continue to receive more Best Answers -- you'll see your percentage rise.

The reason is because you keep answering as you get best answers so it seems like it takes forever to get a higher percentage. I'll go down a point r two when I'm answering a whole lot of questions then my percentage goes back up as the best answers get determined. Just be patent! lol....I've been really slacking on answering lately so my percentage hasn't budged in about a week.

    btw, you are a genius:)

Best answer percentage changes automatically when it needs to change.

You have got 244 best answers out of 750 total answers: Calculate this as a percentage: 100% x 244 / 750 = 32.533%. Yahoo Answers always truncates (i.e. rounds down) the best answer percentages, so this will round down to 32%, which is exactly what Y!A says your best answer percentage is.

Your best answer percentage will only change if it drops below 32% or rises above 33%.

You have 750 answers. So to change 1%, you have to answer and get 7-8 BAs. To lose 1%, you would answer 7-8 with no BAs. If you do anything in between, it will not change very much.

At some point after you join to reach a stopping point where you can no longer get a higher percentage in a few months it was fuxuate a few points but in the end it will in general stay the same. You may have reached you real best answer percentile.

it wont change quickly if you have like a hundred more answers than best answers.
