The very few people who come here genuinely open minded and interested in learning are never called names. Maybe you think the deniers here are subtle, but it is very, very easy to tell the difference between a biased person who otherwise has no interested in climate science, and an open minded skeptic.

And as for you, you are clearly biased, extremely conservative, and generally closed-minded with regards to AGW. You are not skeptical, you are 100% confident that you are correct (opposite of what a "skeptic" should be), that the hard work of thousands of scientists is a massive conspiracy, and that AGW is fundamentally flawed because of things like the well understood 800 year lag (which is the only scientific argument I have ever seen you make).

Come here with a mature attitude and some hint that you're actually interested in discussing science in a calm and open minded way, and you will be amazed at how much differently you are received, even if your ideas are completely contrary to the mainstream opinion. But if you continue being detached from reality, acting like the science of AGW could only possibly be believed if you are part of some "elite" handful of communist extremists, then you will continue to be received negatively. Open your eyes a little and you might be surprised to learn that many proponents (including myself) are just not as interested in politics as you think we are. I've said this before, but there really is more to life than American politics.

Liberal/conservative, it makes no difference. Politicians, in general, have very low moral values. How much power do we really want to give to the power-hungry?
