How to move to the USA?
My fiance's dad lives in the States, so he can get over there as a close relative. However, I do not know how I can get over there. I have two degrees (in the Arts), but no work based learning, eg. teacher etc. We're running out of ideas unfortunately, but this is something we want.
Any clues?

just hop over the border like the Mexicans its easy. seriously if your fiance's father lives in the states and is American then your fiance is too(i think), so when you get married you can get a visa through marriage. other than that you can invest $500,000 in an American business, win the lotto green card but if you are from UK you are not included in lotto. The last way that i know of is if a business wants you but you must be skilled and it must be a position in which Americans are not applying for. Good luck hope everything works out.
