Do those click-for-charity websites actually do anything?

l found a website called "thenonprofits.com" and it has a list of dozens of charity groups that if you click on it, you donate money to that cause. l am curious to know if it is legit. l don't mind doing it, it costs me nothing but a little time to help someone, but l wonder if it is just a waste of time. l don't even know who to ask this question. Does anyone else click on these? Does anyone know if they are even valid? Thanks.

Do you think for a minute that all these sites are legit?

How do you know the money is not going to someones pocket.

Besides they only get one penny per click.

Not worth your time is it?
