Peaches are good for you plus they're nice and sweet and juicy. Why not eat a peach. Well, if you're allergic or it's on your food sensitivity list, then no.
BUT, peaches are the fruit or vegetable most contaminated with pesticides, etc.. so wash it really well before eating. If you don't, then that could also be another reason not to eat one.

As a child I didn't like peaches because they were 'hairy.' I got over this phobia, but the nectarine could be a smooth alternative.

Best answer would be yes. As to the reason to eat or not eat it, that could leave some leeway.
