Is Rep. Hank Johnson D GA an alarmist or is he just worried about Guam tipping over due to too many people?

Update:

I think it was a metaphor used and he did not actually think that the island would capsize. Not even liberal dems can be that stupid...but then again. The admiral did a great job of keeping from laughing as many are.

Actually, he may have a point on increasing the population of that small island.

WOW! I think he is that dumb - I followed your link and watched the video clip there.

    1) He (Rep. Johnson) says Guam is "about 7 miles at its . . . uhhh . . . its least widest" - so that would be narrowest then, wouldn't it? "Least widest" LOL! Is that the opposite of "most narrowest"?

    2) He says Guam measures about 7 miles by 21 miles and then asks the Admiral if he knows how many square miles Guam is. Ummm . . . 7 multiplied by 21 would be 147 wouldn't it?

    3) He says he's worried about the island tipping over because it is so long and so narrow, that over-population may cause the island to "tip-over".

No, it was no metaphor. that excuse was just damage limitation provided by a staffer of infinitely more intelligence than the representative has. I expect that Rep. Johnson is a whole-hearted believer in AGW. He probably believes that we will all be living in the Arctic before the end of the century.

lots of dipshits in the abode, regrettably. i might like to verify Stephen Colbert interview this guy, his "extra suited be attentive to A District" interviews with the Congressmen/women individuals are hilarious. i will on no account ignore the guy who needed the ten Commandments on the courthouses after which could no longer bear in mind all of them while Stephen Colbert quizzed him on it.

You never know how stupid they might be. Remember, as a candidate, Obama visited 57 states.
