How will the world be effected by the eruption of the Icelandic volcano?

Already most flights in and to Europe are canceled, and physicians have advised residents of Scotland and the Netherlands to stay indoors.

In 1816, after Mount Tambora erupted,

----Crops failed in Northern Europe, Canada, and the northern United States; this crop failure was most probably the primary motivation for the Western Expansion into the American Midwest from New England. In Ireland, 100,000 Irish died from famine, and the rice crop's failure in the Yunnan Province of China resulted in famine as well.

---1816,"The Year Without a Summer", kept Mary Shelley and George Gordon, Lord Byron, indoors whereupon Shelley wrote "Frankenstein" and Byron wrote the poem "Darkness".

---J. M. W. Turner's atmospheric paintings resulted from his faithfully reproducing the sky's color during this period.

---The lack of oats for horses inspired the invention of what was later to be the modern bicycle.

How will this occurrence effect Global Warming?

Update:

Note: Thanks for those details Big, Big. Unfortunately, the mind often runs to worst-case scenarios.

It's not true that people in Scotland and the Netherlands have been told to stay indoors.

It is only people with predisposed breathing conditions that have been advised to take caution, and a more general warning that " symptoms such as a runny nose, itchy eyes or cough they may want to go inside"

As I speak there are kids playing outside, and the only reason why mine are in is because they both have nasty coughs and colds which the symptoms came on before the eruption news anyway, and regardless I would keep them inside and warm in any case,

As for the rest, well do you realise that there has only been one eruption worldwide on the scale of Mount Tambora since 1815 and the volcano in Iceland is no-where near the same scale as Mount Tambora. Mount Tambora killed approx 92,000 people and the one in Iceland has yet to claim a victim

You are talking about results of an epic disaster. The reality is that planes are grounded in Europe - hardly in the same context in my opinion.

lol. no. in spite of if this element exploded worse than ever till now, it does no longer close down the earth or block out the solar. There are volcanoes in Yellowstone national Park that have been dormant for 6 hundred,000 years that could accomplish that plenty extra harm than the iceland volcanoes. The iceland volcanoes are tiny in evaluation to the mega volcanos. And basically the mega volcanoes can do genuine harm. yet mega volcanoes does no longer wipe out the full earth the two. it may merely make issues darkish and depressing for some years. The icland volcano won't make all and sundry darkish or depressing till you reside on the part of the volcano.

This eruption is tiny in comparison to that.

Any long term effects will be minimal. For the most part it will simply be a case of the planes being grounded for a few more days and a great increase in car washing businesses for the next wo weeks as it starts to drop.
