I am going to Veradero Cuba and I want to know if there are good little restaurants there.?

Varadero

Varadero isn't overrunning with great restaurants.

There's a Chinese restaurant which is pretty good. Most of the best food I have had in Varadero was in an illegal paladar.

I have eaten a couple of times in restaurants in Parque Josone (?) and wasn't very impressed.

If you want good food, come to Havana !

You could have a look a Trip Advisor or Debbie's - there are more regular visitors to Varadeo on those boards.

In Varadero there are a few restaurants worth trying. If you like lobster there are a few places by calle 62. La fondue is located right next to the snack bar at calle 62 across from cuatros palmas. It's my favourite.Then after dinner the snack bar turns into a street party.Casa de al Is actually pretty good and it's Al Capones old house. It's at the west end of varadero.Then in behind Calle 13 there are a few places for good food out of the resort. You will find restaurants all over avenida primera because of the tourism. But if you do get a chance try a paladar they can cook up good food with usually better portions.

I've seen people going into the Don Quixote restaurant and have been told it is nice but I've never been inside. Also a colleague of mine says that the cantinia across from the 4 palms is OK to eat in too.
