Is the ChaCha Universe down?

There definitely needs to be a way for them to contact us when they are going to be down like this - before, you at least could access the forums when the system went down; now EVERYTHING is out. I'd like to know what kind of ridiculous massive problems they've been having lately.

I'm a Gen/Spe, so to do those of us who are currently working there, instead of doing "Golden Tickets" and going out of their way to hire more folks, why not just raise the per question rate to $.15 per question, with no differences between categories. Also raise the per question rate for Expeditors and Transcribers in a similar fashion - that way, whenever who knows what happens (during a contest, no less - or just in time for payments to be processed) everyone has their money, but it would cost the same overall.

Anyway, hope its back up soon.

Well now...you're getting different answers all around. So what does that tell you? Well, it either tells you that no one knows what they're talking about, or that no one actually knows due to it all being down to speculation and theories which is impossible to test unless it actually happens. I mean, lets look at a couple of things. Gravity - all matter attracts each other and would like to pull everything back together Expansion - trying to show gravity the middle finger by expanding space itself to increase space between these objects Dark Matter - some strange theoretical energy which would contribute to all the mass in the universe adding up, seeing as the visible mass doesn't quite add up to enough Dark Energy - again, an cocky theoretical force which is trying to defy dark matter by intending to speed up the expansion. So we have forces trying to pull things together, which if they win, will cause the average temp of the universe to rise, till it gets to the point where things return to the way they possibly were moments after the Big Bang If the opposing forces win, the opposite will happen and the average temp will go down, "the Big freeze" Could the fabric of space itself tear up due to the expansion of space now overwhelming gravity, which as you may know shapes space itself? I'm not going to be around to see that, so it's not a big bother to me right now. I say right now, cause I don't know if I might come back one day to dwell the Earth to witness this happening. Right now, the latter seems to be the case since the expansion is speeding up. Will the forces controlling this become weaker as the universe gets bigger and bigger? Doesn't seem that way right now does it?

I am a guide and I cannot log on

It's not working for me either. I have been trying to login off and on for the past 15-20 minutes without success. Not sure what's going on, but it does appear to be down for the time being.

me to i can't log in ChaCha they should atleast email us guides to know that it's down so we don't waste our time trying to log in plus ChaCha is paying less then kgb im think of switch to kgb chacha 2 cents per question is crazy when it used to be 10 or 20 cents.

A am able to answer questions but not log in to see the payout, forum or feedback areas. It's been like this for a couple days now. I went thru the contact us page in ChaCha.com and let them know and was asked to send a screen shot which i did but got no response yet.

Talk about down; it's much more down right now than it was yesterday. I'm glad there's *somewhere* on the internet to discuss it with others.

I just tried and can't get in either! I wonder what's wrong? Hopefully it's fixed soon. I keep getting High Volume Alerts and want to help out!

I think it's a ploy to get me to do my laundry. LOL

Seems to be down a lot lately! Very frustrating to say the least..
