A language exchange is a great way to learn a language. I lived in Spain and did exchanges there that really helped me. I found this great new site: http://www.exchangealanguage.com/

You might want to try MyIntercambio (http://myintercambio.com)./ You can search for Spanish speakers there and even target the accent you are looking to learn (Chilean, Mexican, Madrileño, etc).
Chat and private messaging are also built-in so you never have to reveal them to your language exchange partners.
