Tennis balls for green clay?
Do you have do use tennis balls that are made for clay on green clay?

There are (basically) two types of balls - one with regular felt and the other kind with "extra-duty" felt.
The regular one is the one you would want for clay - clay does not wear the balls out as much, and you don't want the balls to get heavier than necessary (with the dirt getting up into the felt).
So - look at the labels and pick a can that says "regular duty". Having said this, you don't HAVE to use those, it is a matter of preference.

Look at what is printed on the can. It will say whether or not the balls are best for clay or hard court surfaces. You can play on a clay surface with hard court balls, however.

I didn't know there was different types of balls , but if there were then each one should be used in the court it was designed for.
