I'm buying a new computer, do these sound like good specs to play wow?
I've decided to do away with my laptop and get a new desktop computer. I realize I only need about 2gigs of RAM to reach 60FPS. My goal is to reach 60 fps in most areas of WoW. I've decided to go with a cheap factory refurbished HP desktop. At $339.99 it comes with:
= AMD Athlon™ II X2 (2.7 gigs processor)
= 4GIG DDR3 SDRAM.
=750 Gig drive.
=NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE (Graphics Card)
Here are the full specs: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Factory-Refurbish...
I plan to upgrade the graphics card and buy a 100$ 20" Acer Flatpanel monitor. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Acer+-+20%22+Flat-Pane...
My question is, is this a good deal? Also what type of graphics card should I buy that would best fit the motherboard? And finally, is it hard to replace a graphics card, should I pay a professional to do it?

wow this is a really good deal!!! + you would have to buy any card with pci-e (e=express).
I would recomend you buy the ATI Radeon HD 5750 (GDDR5 version) it is a fast card and more than capable of playing WOW at that price. You can buy the card from the same place:

or you could buy the 5770 from ebay which is better for the same price ($10 more):

as for installing i am no expert but i beleive it is a matter of putting the card into the pci-e slot and installing the disc. also you have to hook it up to the psu but that is also a simple job.

You should be fine, but you the graphics card will most likely need to be replaced. The biggest concern I would have about the video card is whether or not the power supply can handle it. Most prebuilt systems come with the min power supply needed to run the systems and maybe an add on card. There is a chance that if you buy a new high end card you will have to replace the PSU si you should look in to what it is currently using before buying the system. If you plan on replacing the PSU you are probably better off just building the system from scratch using the part you want to use. The link did not work for me but, assuming the MB has a 16x slot which it "should". I recommend the 5700+ series or better from ATI.

The Processor and ram is more than enough to run WoW at 60fps
You should get a very good video card so you don't have to buy another one again in a few years.

It's not hard to replace a video card. Don't ever get a "professional" to do it because it's very easy. YouTube has loads of videos on how to replace a video card.

It's about 400 euro's for such a system out here, so I guess that's about 600 USD. So you didn't buy it too expensive. Out here a 19" screen is about 100 Euro's, so I guess that will be around 150 dollars out there. And that system is more than enough for World of Warcraft and probably also good enough for the common school work.
