Have you ever tried to grow tress from cuttings?

I bought some root hormone and tried to do this. I followed the directions and did this to some willow trees, clemetis and some red plum trees. They wilted over night.

Clematis cuttings depends entirely upon the variety - identify your plant and then look it up on the Internet. I've never had any sucess with them and it's better to buy new.

Cuttings from bushes work for me like 2/10. Must be right time of year, right potting mixture. Some are better having a little branch pulled to the ground and have soil heaped over it until it puts down roots.
