I couldn't get used to a Jeff Gordon car without the Dupont company as the main scheme. Hell, when I just hear Dupont, I think Jeff Gordon, as many others probably do as well. As big and as well known Walmart is, they sure don't need any sponsor exposure to gain more customers. Point being, I think if Walmart was to venture into Nascar, they would wind up on the hood of a not so great team or driver. There's just no sense in them spending a ton of money to get put on the hood of a driver as well known and as talented as Jeff Gordon. Maybe somebody like Joe Nemecheck or another driver that has somewhat seen their better days in racing.

as long as Steve Latarte can get his race set united statestrue, and Jeff can start up winning, uncertain if he will pass Pearson, he has to probable race yet another 5 ys, and that i'm purely uncertain if he will race 5 greater yrs. The competitiion obtainable now could be fierce, i think of he will come close, yet i do no longer see him passing the Silver Fox Pearson. If Jeff has yet another year like this year, then its no longer gonna ensue for particular. circulate Dale Jr & Hms in 2009

I dont shop chinatown oops i mean wal-mart nascar suppose to be an American sport i dont think nascar or hendricks will benefit much it most likely will hurt Rick and Jeff both seem to be thoughtful and caring where as wal-mart dont give a sh!+ about anything or anybody i dont think it would work

  • Well if it brings money to the sport I am usually for it. ...however I can't stand WalMart. That man...Sam Walton, started that store so that we could purchase AMERICAN made products at a reasonable price. However, go through the store and see how long it takes you to purchase something MADE IN THE USA. Go ahead. And the clothes with the celebrity names on them?? Made in 3rd world countries...look at the tags. Their food department IMPORTS it's meat and a lot of other products. Guess our farms can't supply the meat demand. Now they are wanting the govt to pass a bill that allows them to NOT have the country of origin on their products. I wonder why that is??? They pay their employees slave wages, no benefits, and treats them poorly. . No WalMart on any car.

I hate Wal-Mart too. I don't want to sound like a jerk but every time I'm there it's full of big fat white girls with 2 or 3 black baby's and that's not an exaggeration.

I have always hated Wal-Mart always will. Like Giggity Goo says the stores are nasty, people are rude, there is a Target in Tenn, but I hardly go there, I"ll go to K-Mart before I"ll go to Wal-Mart, I only go there if my sister asks me to go, if she's having to work. I'd give a bunch of thumbs down if I could.

I don't think any Nascar driver would let Walmart sponsor them.

It would give them a bad reputation as many Americans are against Walmart.

Walmart should not be sponsoring any race cars until they can provide their employees with some benefits. I am 100% sure Walmart will never be on any car owned by Hendrick Motorsports.

Maybe Jeff should court Neiman Marcus as a sponsor to apiece his special fans....
