Do you agree with the substance of this quote:?

    Absolutely. Politics, especially in America, is so 'my team'/'your team' it is sick. The absence of a critical and fact-based media without obvious bias is only fueling the fire. Networks and organizations seem to pander to a particular 'bent' in order to attract interests and sell advertising. I shudder to think about how the current generation will never know real, genuine news.

    The observation you quote highlights the 'team' nature of politics and resulted in unnecessary criticism of George W. Bush and fuels the viral criticism of Obama.

    Many Democrats have proven it to be true from 2001 to 2009, while many Republicans have proven it true since then.
