Can a tourist buy and register a car in Florida?
I have a nephew coming up to visit and he is staying 3 months, so he wanted to buy a car instead of renting one. He is evidently not a resident, but a tourist. Can he do this? Thanks!

He should be a permanent resident of Florida in order to register a vehicle in FL.

Yes. He can As long as he has a valid Florida address. But..... he may also have to get a Florida driving license. Seems like it would be an unnecessary hassle to me.
