Gaz to slip back into the Mighty Red V!?

Gasnier will move straight back into the centres in a few weeks, Beau Scott pushed into the back row and Costigan probably slip back to the bench.

And here i was thinking the Dragons team couldn't get any better?!

Happy days being a Dragons fan, agreed?

And don't give me that choking rubbish, pshhhh

LG.

Update:

He fits under the cap easy, because we just keep 2 books, so the money some players are being paid is counted on the salary cap :)

Good to have Gaz back in the NRL. He left under pretty good conditions and am glad to see he came back without too much of a problem. Note to SBW: Stay away forever!

Yep, will be good to see Gaz back in the Red V. Apparently he could be back against the Panthers next Monday, which would mean he'd take Cooper's spot in the meantime. But when Coops is fit to play again Beau Scott will move to the back row and Gasnier slots back into the no. 3.

I was talking to a guy at work who is a massive Dragons fan. Yes Mel and co, you have kindred spirits in Canberra. My query was how will they fit him in.

Their backs are all firing and you wouldn't change what's working.

also there's the salary cap issue. You don't think the auditors will be looking closely at that deal. And Gaz won't be playing for peanuts.

So it begs the question that Mel raised. Who's moving on?

As Terri said, I too would be interested to know how he fits under the cap. If the Storm players can't take a reduction to stay at Melbourne, neither should any player. He was on nearly a mil a season in France, he should be on something comparable here or the whole thing is a sick joke.

He's getting 50K this year and match payments.. Next year someone will have to go.

He won't be back against Penrith. He will play in the NSW Cup for 3 weeks, most likely for Shellharbour. He should be back against the Rabbitohs after the Bye.

It's great to have him back, but we don't really need him. Beau Scott has been doing great at Centre and who are we pushing off the bench? They all deserve to be there.

Ah well its almost ending - all the union defects have returned (nearly)...

Well I hope he doesnt push someone out since the Dragons have such a synergy.

Mind you is u see how Lote has been for us Tigers fans - he will do just fine!

    Costigan>Scott if you ask me

Dragons have just come into a little trouble for salary cap along with broncos and eels so I dunno mustn't be paying him much
