If given the chance, would you?

Definitely take a friend or two, because what fun would it be to travel around the world with no one to share this great experience with?

I will be sailing around this blue rock. Not sure if I will be sailing solo or have a friend on board. The vessel will be rigged for single handed sailing. I also will have a buddy that has his own sailing vessel that will be tagging a long.

As for skills, well I've been around the world 1 & 1/2 times in a battleship, which is not even close to sailing a 56 footer. I can say I've been in some spooky storms that even broke a few parts on the battleship. I have a good idea what it's like out there. :-)

Why would you wanna go around the world alone?? That would be so boring, and plus, What would happen if you needed help manning the boat?

Of course. I've been thinking about that for a while. (but being at the ripe old age of 16, I can't really do that right now.)

It would depend. I would LOVE to take somebody so I don't go insane, but would spending too much time with this person drive me insane anyway?

Awh.. forget it. I'm already insane. :) Take a friend. Even though single-handing it might be pretty amazing too.

If I had a boat and the time, I would jump at the chance to do it, who won't like to do something as crazy as this and yet the most exciting thing they would probably ever do.

If you are considering doing this, then go for it and enjoy every minute of it.

i would take a friend so i would have someone to talk to and just in case something bad happens i would have someone to have my back and vice versa
