What's the cheapest way to get to 59th St. Columbus Circle from Mineola, Long Island?
I've been paying too much, 20$, to get to school in Manhattan. I take the LIRR and the Subway. But I've heard of a cheaper way. Please let me know any suggestions/packages.

Do you go every day? If so, it's considerably cheaper to get a weekly or monthly commuter ticket.
If you don't mind a much slower trip, you can take the N24 bus from Mineola to Jamaica, then the F train, change to the E train to 7th Ave and either walk from there or take the D train one stop. That's one trip on your Metrocard, $2.25.
