Allowance for liquids on plane?
3 people are traveling together, and we only taking one carry on bag. Do each of us still get the one quart bag allowance of liquids? Does it matter that 3 bags will end up packed into one suitcase?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Each ticketed passenger is entitled to their own 1 qt. bag for liquids. The fact that they will all be stored in a single carry on bag after the security check is irrelevant.

Actually, it's per person. Each of you can bring one one-quart bag. From the TSA: "One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. "
Put them in the bins with your coat, purse, etc.; just don't make a comment on where the plastic bags are going to attract attention. You're not doing anything wrong, you just don't want to spend any more time with TSA than you need to.

hi the rule of thumb for beverages in hand luggage is - all bottles could be under 3.4oz (100ml) - all bottles could be in a sparkling 1qt (20x20cm) ziplock bag - one bag consistent with man or woman - bag could close - bottles could in good shape 'with ease' interior the bag (there is not any longer a shrink on bottles yet they could in good shape interior bag ) - bag could be shown upon request on the protection checkpoint desire this helped and risk-free travels :)

It is per bag. More than one quart per bag is not allowed. 4 terrorists could just say they're putting all their shampoo (C4) in one bag.
