Gasol is the best power forward in the league right now! It was Kobe's team so most people give credit to Kobe. Pau Gasol is the perfect compliment to Kobe Bryant. Throw in Ron Artest (great defensive player) and Derek Fisher, and you get back-to-back NBA Championships.

Pau Gasol is the greatest power forward in the game. He can shoot, pass, take it strong to the hoop, rebound, and take it strong to the hoop. Not many players in the Nba have that combination.

I think of Dwight Howard more as a center so I don't really compare the two. If I were to though Howard is better. Pau may be the best PF in the game though. Amare is probably better offensively though despite never playing defense.

I mean lots of people think he should've been the Finals MVP when he avg just 18ppg to Kobe's 28ppg and dissapeared in games 3 & 5. Plus shot just 6-16fg & 7-13ft in game 7.

Lots of people also think he's a Hall of Famer when he's avging just 18ppg & 9rpg in his prime. He's not even a top 7 big man in the league right now.

And how did he do in the playoffs while with the Grizzlies? 0-12. Didn't win a single playoff game.
