When is the best time to go to Italy and when is the best time to buy plane tickets?
I am interested in knowing what month(s) are the best. I hate extreme heat and extreme cold. Also, what is the best day of the week to buy plane tickets? I want to go to Florence, Italy.

The best time to go to Europe generally is in Spring or early Summer such as April and early May or in September and sometimes October as well. These months are not too hot and they are also not high on tourism so it is generally less expensive to fly there. Italy is pretty expensive to fly into from the US so I recommend flying into Germany. The cheapest plane tickets are generally from the US into Germany. (not sure why but they are) Once you are in Frankfurt,Germany you can easily buy a cheap ticket to Italy.
Buy your tickets between midnight and 3am on Wednesday.
Might I recommend kayak.com, travelocity.com or Deltaairlines.com
have fun

April to the middle of June or September and October are the best times to visit here. Everything is up and running, but you're outside the peaks of the tourist seasons and in more comfortable weather. The Florence airport itself is pretty small. For Florence consider flying into Pisa which is an alternative airport. There's a train station at the Pisa airport with trains to Florence in a little over an hour. Another reasonable alternative is Bologna which is the #3 airport in Italy now. There's a shuttle bus from the airport to the train station (20 min, 5 euro). Form there's it's a little under 40 minutes to Florence on a fast train.

Sebastian is right. airplane tickets continually have an expiry date. in the journey that your aunt had paid for the fee ticket together with her credit card, she might have been ableto get a reimbursement, in spite of if the fee ticket became on your call. Minors have not got the authority to make a freelance with the airlines, so your aunt might have had to try this, and record you as a passenger. Airmiles are in straightforward terms issued to the paying passenger. below no situation might you be waiting to apply your aunt's miles, or get money for a value tag which you probably did not pay for.
