Does this mean what it says ?

The Federal Immigration and National Act of 1952 passed by a Congress that had insight, under Section 8 USC 1324[a](1)(A)[iv][b](iii) any US citizen that knowingly assists an illegal alien, provides them with employment, food, water or shelter has committed a felony. City, county or State officials that declare their jurisdictions to be "Open Cities, Counties or States are subject to arrest; as are law enforcement agencies who chose not to enforce this law. Police officers who ignore officials who violate Section 8 USC 1324[a](1)(A)[iv][b](iii) are committing a Section 274 federal felony. Furthermore, according to Federal Immigration and National Act of 1952, if you live in a city, county or State that refuses to enforce the law for whatever reason, the officials making those rules are financially liable for any crime committed within their jurisdiction by an illegal alien.

Update:

It is still on the books and doesn't show to be overwritten or repealed

the drug dealers/suppliers

Let's not forget Sept 11 some of whom came through Mexico

Update 3:

There are proper procedures for comming into our country and they are quite leniant

Update 4:

All the law inforcement officers take an oath to uphold all the laws of the state , the constitution and of the country .

There are laws that are currently on the Federal Immigration Laws that withstand the same meaning. Some amendments have been written into the laws as to protect against discrimination. Other than that, it is the same.

This is why the Federal Judge in Az. made a mistake on the SB1070. It is written in the current immigration laws to allow law enforcement the right to act on illegals. The only pre-emption would be due to a Federal agent acting on the law and interferred with by local law enforcement. Which isn't going to happen.

That bill was overwritten by the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRIRA) of 1996.

I believe that we should not let all the illegals in and should report all to theofficial to get them out, some of the illegals are not coming here to better them self ,but to destroy are country and take what we all want away that is are freedom.

Source(s): This is my own way to keep free.

You have to prove knowledge that the person doing the harboring knew the person was an illegal alien. Tough to prove and very not prosecutable.

i would be more concerned about terrorists, bombings, planes being blown up and war not people that want to come to America to try and earn some kind of decent living. i am more afraid of terrorists than immigrants.
