I just took the test.
Everyone who wants to be citizens must take the test.
The only thing that would help Mom, it she is 65 and older and have been a lawful permanent resident for at least 20 years, then instead of the 100 question, she would need to study 20 only.
And if she is 50 and older and been a permanent resident fo at least 20 years, then she don`t need to take the writing or reading test.
Or if she is mentally handicapped or challanged, she don`t need to take any of the test.

Just wait a little and Spanish will be the official language in the USA anyway...

she needs to be really old like in her 60s maybe. it also it depends what language she speaks if its spanish french she's out of luck now if it Mandarin. then well she's in a good position.
